Bring your own keys

Add a model maker's API key and Quorum runs that maker's seats on your account with them.

Add a model maker's API key and Quorum runs the seats that maker supplies on your key. The maker bills you directly.

Add a key

  1. Open Settings -> API keys.
  2. Choose Add key, pick the maker and paste the key.
  3. Save. Quorum checks the key with the maker when you save it.

Settings lists the makers you have keys for. Keys are write-only: to change one, add a new key for the same maker. Remove a key from the same list.

Which makers work

Keys work for these makers: OpenAI, Google, xAI. Choose from them in the Settings picker.

What changes

If your key fails

Fallback is off by default, so a seat whose key fails is skipped. To keep that seat running, turn on If my key fails, use Quorum's sources and bill me in Settings. The seat then runs on Quorum's keys and is billed to you.
