The art of
deliberation.

Quorum is how deliberation happens — wherever it needs to happen, by man or by machine. Panels of frontier models argue a question out before you read a word of the answer, and the same system is open to anyone who wants to shape how that argument runs.

The diagram is the route itself — drawn from the same geometry the product runs on, not an illustration of it. A question enters at the top, takes the express lane or the deliberating one, and loops back through critique until the panel is done arguing.

Introduction

Quorum is designed for moments where the quality of thinking matters: decisions with tradeoffs, complex analysis, strategic direction, and creative work that must stand up to scrutiny. Quorum helps you move from an open question to a closed outcome with confidence.

Strong results come from strong perspectives engaging each other, not from a single pass of automated reasoning.

Section 02

How It Works

Quorum is powered by what we call the Deliberated Output Generator (DOG) — the foundation for quorum.dog.

When you submit a question or prompt, Quorum coordinates multiple independent engines and has them approach the problem from their unique perspectives. Those answers are then debated, challenged, and reconciled through a multi-AI process designed to surface insight rather than noise.

How that deliberation is set up — which engines take which seats, how much critique runs, how many rounds, what the panel is tuned for — is itself a saved, named, shareable configuration. We call one a Mode. Every answer Quorum has ever produced ran inside one, and anyone signed in can build their own.

The seats are filled from Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI, among others. Which specific model takes a seat on a given question is Quorum's job and changes as the field moves — what does not change is that more than one company's model saw your question before you read the answer. The reply itself is Quorum's, not attributed back to whichever engine wrote which paragraph, because the point of the exercise is what they agreed on after arguing.

Where they agree

Once the reasoning has stabilized, Quorum synthesizes the work into one coherent outcome and formally locks it. The lock is intentional: it creates a clear end state instead of an endless loop of revisions.

Where they don't

Convergence is only half the value. Where the panel does not agree is often the more useful half — it marks the part of your question that is genuinely contested rather than merely unresolved. Quorum measures that divergence round by round.

Divergence is measured today and surfaced in Panel, where you can also moderate the deliberation yourself. Bringing it forward into Chat is not yet built.

The same underlying engine drives every Quorum experience. What changes is how much of the process you see and how much control you want to exert.

Section 03

Value & Benefits

Quorum's value goes beyond deliberation. It is a way to run professional thinking without fragmentation.

More accurate, and we publish the margin. When multiple models critique and challenge each other before converging, the result is better than any single model working alone — and rather than assert that, Quorum measures it. In blind pairwise judging against a single frontier model, on questions drawn from a public conversation dataset, the deliberated answer is preferred 63.9% of the time. The interval, the sample size, the losing share and the protocol are all on the Testing page, along with the places deliberation does worst. An industry write-up on consensus-based multi-model routing reports accuracy gains of 7–15 points over the best single model — a vendor’s analysis rather than peer-reviewed work, and pointing the same direction as our own figure above.

It does cost more per call. Measured on our own runs, a deliberated answer costs roughly two to three and a half times a single frontier call and takes about three times as long. We are not going to tell you otherwise. The offsetting argument is about total rounds rather than per-call price: token costs scale superlinearly as a conversation grows — round six with one model is far dearer than round one — so front-loading the disagreement should reach a defensible answer in fewer rounds overall. That is the honest state of it: the per-call premium is measured, and the round-count saving is reasoned rather than measured. Berkeley AI Research has identified compound AI systems — coordinating multiple models — as one of the most impactful architectural directions in AI.

One system instead of many. Instead of juggling tools, subscriptions, and model choices, you work inside a single system that coordinates the work for you. One plan gives you access to a broad range of leading AI capabilities, without requiring you to constantly decide which engine to use or how to reconcile conflicting outputs.

Stable as the landscape shifts. As the AI landscape evolves, Quorum is designed to remain stable for you: one place to think, one process to trust, and one set of habits that don't need to change every time a new model appears.

Surfaces

Quorum offers multiple surfaces — different ways to engage the same intelligence depending on the task.

Fastest path
Chat

The fastest way to reach a high‑quality outcome. You ask a question and receive a single synthesized response, with deliberation handled quietly in the background. Well suited for everyday professional work — analysis, writing, coding, and research.

Full control
Panel

Exposes the deliberation itself. Multiple perspectives work in parallel, and you can actively guide the process — challenging assumptions, pushing deeper, deciding when the work is complete. Designed for complex decisions and strategic tradeoffs.

Creative range
Studio

Applies the deliberation engine to creative work. Activates multiple Maker AIs to generate unique work, then brings in AI Critics to converge on a clear creative direction. Ideal for messaging, positioning, branding, and concept development.

For systems
API

Six endpoints and six MCP tools. OpenAI-compatible, so existing code works with two lines changed. Includes a free pre-flight that prices a question before you run it. The reference.

Chat is fully supported on mobile. Panel and Studio are desktop experiences.

Section 05

In your code, and in your product

There are two ways to reach deliberation from a codebase, and they are not the same job.

In your workflow. Connect Quorum to the editor and the agent you already use. The architectural call you were about to make alone gets three frontier models arguing about it first — and the code that lands is the code that survived that.

In what you ship. One base-URL change puts a panel behind your own product's AI feature. Your users get an answer that several models already fought over, and you did not have to build the orchestration, the judging, or the receipts to do it.

This is the fastest thing a small team can do to raise the quality floor of an AI product — which is why startups are the audience we most want in front of it.

Six endpoints, six MCP tools, OpenAI-compatible, and a free pre-flight that prices a question before you run it. The API reference has the request shapes. Organisational billing, roles and data-handling questions are on Enterprise.

Section 06

Modes

A mode is a saved configuration of how Quorum deliberates for a given kind of question — which model families take which seats, how much internal critique runs, how many rounds, what it's tuned for. Every Quorum answer already runs inside a mode; today that's Standard (Quorum's default, tuned for speed and cost) or Einstein Mode (highest-tier reasoning, unlocked on Pro).

Anyone signed in can build one. Keep it to yourself, share it with teammates, or publish it. It takes a browser and an afternoon — Build a Mode is live and self-serve, with no waitlist and no application. Before you publish, you can test it on the same rig we use on our own.

The Modes is the public catalog — every mode shown with real, auto-derived ingredients (provider mix, seat count, critique depth) rather than marketing copy, so you can tell what a mode actually does before you use it. A mode cannot claim a panel it does not run.

Modes here aren't only built by Quorum. Publishing one is how a Mode Maker turns subject knowledge into a product: a share of real revenue attributed to that mode's actual use, paid out through Stripe Connect directly to their own account, never sitting in Quorum's balance. How that works, and where it honestly stands today.

FAQ

Isn't this just a wrapper around existing AI models?
No — and the distinction matters. A wrapper passes your prompt to one model and returns the result. Quorum runs a structured deliberation: multiple independent engines approach the problem from their own perspectives, then challenge and critique each other's reasoning before a synthesis is produced. We measure the difference rather than assert it: in blind pairwise judging against a single frontier model, the deliberated answer is preferred 63.9% of the time across 577 questions. The full protocol, the interval, and where deliberation loses.
How is Quorum different from using a single AI model like ChatGPT or Claude?
Single models are fluent and fast — but they have no internal check on their own reasoning. They cannot disagree with themselves. Quorum introduces structured contention: multiple independent engines challenge each other before a synthesis is produced. A published industry analysis of this approach reports consistent accuracy gains over best-single-model baselines, particularly on complex reasoning tasks. It is a vendor write-up, not peer-reviewed research — our own measured figure, and how we got it, is on the Testing page.
Why would I pay for Quorum if I already subscribe to ChatGPT Plus?
ChatGPT Plus gives you one model. Quorum gives you coordinated access to Claude, GPT, Gemini, and others — working together, not in isolation. If you're currently opening multiple tabs to compare answers yourself, Quorum replaces that workflow with a single system that does the synthesis for you. For most users, Quorum replaces two or three separate subscriptions, not adds to them.
How is Quorum different from switching between multiple AI tools myself?
When you switch tools manually, you are the synthesis layer — responsible for comparing outputs, resolving contradictions, and deciding what to trust. That cognitive work is invisible but real, and it scales poorly with the complexity of the question. Quorum integrates that process into a structured workflow and returns a single, reconciled outcome. The deliberation happens before you see the result, not after.
Who built Quorum, and who is it designed for?
Quorum is built by a small team with backgrounds in product, systems design, and AI infrastructure. It is designed for professionals who need clarity and accountability in their thinking — founders, operators, lawyers, consultants, engineers, researchers, and creative leads. Anyone whose work requires defensible answers, not just fluent ones.
Is Quorum replacing human judgment?
No. Quorum is designed to support human judgment by doing the heavy cognitive work and presenting a clear, reasoned outcome. The final decision — and the responsibility for it — always remains with you.
